COSLEY ZOO
After spending a year indoors, I am determined to make this summer full of fun memories. Toddler approved activities can be challenging to find. I had heard great things about Cosley Zoo from family and friends and decided to check it out. Today we took an early morning trip to meet family for a play date. Located in the western suburbs of Chicago, this attraction is perfect for small children and stroller walks. We arrived when the park opened which was perfect, we had the place to ourselves. Admission is affordable, free for ages 0-17 and $8 for general admission ages 18-54. Visitors can walk around and discover Illinois wildlife and farm animals. The exhibits are small so you are sure to spot your favorite animals, unlike larger zoos on a hot day animals may be looking for cool shelter and enclosed. You can feed the ducks after 10AM. After a few laps around the zoo, the kids burned off some energy running around the turf. We ended the day in the gift shop where you are sure to find a keepsake for any age. We will definitely be back!
