ABOUT
MEET KATIE & REMI
I gave birth to my daughter Remi Sloane on 4/4/20. Becoming a mother is the most challenging, uneasy and emotional journey. Every bit of this adventure has filled my soul with endless love for our daughter and extreme gratitude for our support system. I am a full-time working mom just trying to navigate this new norm of raising a tiny human and nurturing my relationship with my husband.
I constantly seek advice and embrace any opportunity to exchange tips with other moms. Amanda and I have no professional writing experience, so please be kind. We are just two moms who find the blogging process to be therapeutic.
My day starts off with coffee and ends with a glass of wine. This space is for all moms who experience long days and short nights. Thank you for visiting!
X0 Katie

MEET AMANDA & SONNY
We welcomed Sonny into this world on May 18, 2020 with open arms in the midst of a global pandemic. Motherhood has been the most exciting, terrifying, challenging, selfless, all consuming, and wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. As a (mostly) stay at home mom I strive to find balance between being a good mother, having a healthy relationship with my spouse, and not losing who I was before becoming a parent.
When Katie asked me collaborate on a blog I jumped at the opportunity. We make a great team and offer two very different perspectives. I am eternally grateful for all the love and support we have received from our family and friends. It truly "takes a village". Fortunately, I have an amazing group of friends that I can always turn to for advice. My goal is to pay it forward and use this platform to create a judgement free zone for all parents no matter their journey. In no way do I think I am a parenting expert. In fact, it is the complete opposite. I hope we can learn from each other and can navigate keeping these tiny humans alive together!
Like Katie, my day starts with caffeine (a big mug of tea that gets reheated several times) and typically ends with an even bigger glass of wine (or champange) at night.
